Citigroup raised its price target on Xometry (XMTR) yesterday to a level roughly 18% above yesterday’s close.
The move caught my attention because XMTR has already been climbing the Next Wave Radar rankings over the past several sessions while much of the market has stayed mixed.
This is the type of action I continue watching closely right now.
Not because every analyst upgrade matters. Most do not.
But when a stock is already acting stronger than the market, holding above major moving averages, attracting volume, and then institutions start leaning into the story at the same time… those names can separate quickly from the pack.

A lot of stocks still look broken despite the overall strength as demonstrated by the Radar showing only 53% worth participating in.
But a smaller group continues to trend higher without making headlines.
A few others are starting to strengthen as well, especially across AI infrastructure, industrial automation, and select energy-related names.
On the downside
Meanwhile, some former leaders continue slipping lower despite the broader indexes stabilizing, like CVNA (Carvana) and NET (Cloudflare)
That’s why I’m paying much more attention to relative strength and participation than headlines and themes alone right now.
